RS Presidency Message: Perfect Love Casteth Out Fear

Perfect Love Casteth Out All Fear We live in a world where there may seem to be much to be afraid of - a pandemic, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, fires, tempests, etc. Moroni has prophesied of our time in Mormon 8 . But we are also told that there is no need to be afraid. In the most recent General Conference, we were told that if we are prepared, if we are righteous, we have no reason to fear. Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf gave a talk 3 1/2 years ago about how perfect love, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's love, casteth out all fear. Here's a quote from that talk: We are blessed beyond measure to live in a day of unparalleled prosperity, enlightenment, and advantage. Most of all, we are blessed to have the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which gives us a unique perspective on the world’s dangers and shows us how to either avoid these dangers or deal with them.  - Dieter F. Uchtdorf Other talks to study: "Perfect Love Casteth Out Fear" - Elder L. Tom Perry ...

The invitation President Nelson gave us: “As we gather to hear the words the Lord has inspired His servants to deliver, I invite you to ponder a promise the Lord made. He declared that ‘ whosoever will  may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning . . . and the wiles of the devil, and lead the [disciple] of Christ in a strait and narrow course’” ( Helaman 3:29 ; emphasis added).
